Memorial of writer Jaroslav Foglar, author of Rychlé šípy (The Swift Arrow). He camped there together with the scouts of Pražská dvojka (the Second Scout Troop of Prague), the oldes Czech scout troop.
Číhošť – The Centre of the Czech Republic
Geodetic experts calculated that the geographical centre of our republic is in a meadow near village Číhošť.Geodetic works in a field were done in April 2004 , the point was marked with an iron pipe with wooden pins and in 2006 a memorial wih a desk was unveiled. A Route of Josef Toufar from Leština to Smrčná passes Číhošť.
